Restoring Perfection

A Finish that Lasts

Restoring Perfection

A client came to MerManMarine after a previous repair left their yacht’s finish rough and discolored. Our expert team quickly diagnosed the UV damage and poor polishing.

After educating the owner on the long-term value of quality finishes, they were thrilled with the investment in a durable, stunning result.

With a custom MaxZPaint top coat, we restored the yacht’s appearance to a pristine, mirror-like shine.

“Once we educated him, he was happy to spend the money on the correct paint job.”

“Our boat is purely a race horse, and Merman Marine is our go-to for all our rigging and composite needs. Staff is super responsive, easy to work with, can fix anything, even same day, and get us back on the race course. These guys are also super adept at unique projects like composite work aloft and devising / installing new modifications like our Spinnaker Staysail system. Seriously in depth understanding of loads and technologies in both rigging and structure. And they are passionate about the work they do. Hire with confidence!”

  • sunreef 80 sunset at the mooring

“We originally contracted Merman marine to refurbish our large hydraulic tender lift/swim platform that hangs off the back of our 80’ catamaran. These chaps really knocked it out the park!  Their team removed it from the boat, stripped all the hardware and teak, had it sandblasted and spent countless hours on surface prep to create a finish that was better than new!  They then meticulously reassembled with new fasteners, restored hardware and refreshed teak.  We were so impressed with the work that we also contracted them to do gelcoat repair to about 150’ of waterline, fix cracking issues around a hull window, pull and service our 100’ rig as well as countless other projects.  An amazing resource, with a huge attention to detail. These guys know their stuff! I would highly recommend them and will definitely be sharing their info with other captains.”
